The Challenge
PokerStars is an online poker cardroom owned by The Stars Group. Work on PokerStars Power Up game commenced in 2014 with its launch in 2017.
PokerStars was looking into complete revamp of their mobile application specifically focusing on the well known challenges with its user experience design.
Our Solution
Extensive research and prototyping were conducted in order to define the most ideal solution for the landscape and portrait modes of the poker lobby, multi-level game filtering and poker table. The requirements were based on players' motivation and behaviours, frequency and importance of certain features to the gameplay.
Very detailed future-proof solution was delivered alongside with the rationale and validated requirements. The final specification was device agnostic and could easily apply to iOS and Android based applications.
